Cabin Description
The Hickory cottage is one of our stand-alone Asheville vacation cabins for rent.
The Hickory is a one bedroom, one bathroom cottage designed for a luxurious and quiet getaway.
This enchanting cabin’s elegant décor and amenities include a secluded private porch with patio furniture, a gas grill, and hot tub outside.

The Bedroom
The bedroom in the Hickory has a king size bed and a Sleep Number mattress. This mattress will allow you and your spouse to adjust the softness or firmness of your side of the bed to fit your individual comfort. Tracie's sleep number is 35 and Mine (Marshall) is 70. When we sleep on a Sleep Number bed, we have a perfect night sleep.
In the Hickory, like all of our other cottages, we have a Hunter brand ceiling fan for your enjoyment located directly over your bed. If you like a cool breeze blowing over you while you sleep, you've come to the right place.
Like watching TV in bed? This bedroom has a TV mounted on the wall that allows you to do that. Bluetooth speaker? Yep, and it also doubles as an alarm clock and a cell phone charger as well.
2 luxurious bathrobes await you in the closet. These can be used while lounging around the cottage or to go to and from the hot tub.
The Living Room
The living room in the Hickory has a soft La-Z-Boy sleeper and a relaxing La-Z-Boy recliner. The fireplace turns on with a flip of a button to create a VERY romantic atmosphere.
Watching a movie or sports game is no problem on the OVER-SIZED flat screen TV receives premium movie channels and more than 200 regular channels.
The Bathroom
Be prepared to be AMAZED when you walk into this bathroom! The first thing you'll notice is the over-sized, huge, 2 person, walk-in shower. Next to the shower is the large garden tub and the toilet room (with a heated toilet seat). The heated tile floors will keep your feet warm in the cool Asheville mornings.
The granite counter tops round out the luxury in this large bathroom.
The Kitchen
The full kitchen in the Hickory has high-quality cookware, granite counter tops, upgraded appliances quality and heavy-weight flatware. Cooking in the Hickory is a pleasure because we provide most of the basic spices, aluminum foil, Ziploc bags and plastic containers to store your food. The Hickory also has a large kitchen island that you can use to prepare your meals.
You will also find a special welcome basket with complimentary snacks and free drinks in the fridge.
Back Deck
The hot tub with crystal clear water, large gas grill and patio furniture are all out on the covered back deck. The beauty of the COVERED deck is that you can enjoy this area of the cottage no matter what the weather conditions are.
There is fast Wi-Fi available throughout the cottage.
Though designed for two, this cabin can accommodate up to four with its La-Z-Boy sofa sleeper.
When you stay at cabin in Asheville NC, you’re only a few miles from excellent hiking trails, restaurants, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
