The Dogwood Cottage

The Dogwood is an excellent choice when looking for a cabin rental in Asheville, NC with its one bedroom with a king size bed, one bath, and covered deck complete with a private 2 person hot tub.

 

An ideal cottage for two but can accommodate up to four people if your family can’t resist its charm. The two extra people will sleep on the La-Z-Boy sleeper sofa.

The Kitchen

The Dogwood, like all of our cottages, features a fully-equipped kitchen with high-quality cookware and upgraded appliances. If you are going to cook with us, we provide many of the basic spices along with aluminum foil, Ziploc bags and plastic storage containers for the leftovers.

 

The Living Room

The spacious living room has a soft, comfortable sofa and a La-Z-Boy recliner for relaxing. You can enjoy a romantic evening by simply turning on the fireplace. If you want to watch a movie, the large TV has more than 200 channels with 32 premium movie channels.

 

The Bathroom

In the cool Asheville mornings, you will love the heated tile floors in the bathroom.  

In the closet are two soft bathrobes that you can use when you get out of the hot tub or when you are lounging around the cottage. You will also notice a towel warmer on the wall. This assures that every time you get out of the shower you will have a warm towel waiting for you. As if the heated floors and heated towel rack were not enough, we also added a heated toilet seat that is magical (you'll understand what I mean when you stay with us).

 

The Bedroom

The bedroom has a king size bed with a Sleep Number mattress. This mattress allows you to adjust the firmness of your side of the bed. Marshall's sleep number is 70 while mine (Tracie) is 35. Sleeping on the Sleep Number bed allows us both to get a perfect night sleep. There is also a flat screen TV mounted on the wall that you can watch while you are in bed. Warm natured? We also have a Hunter brand ceiling fan over the bed that will keep you cool all night. If you want to listen to music, the alarm clock doubles as a high-quality Bluetooth speaker and a USB phone charging port as well.

 

If you happen to be warm natured, there is a  ceiling fan over the bed that you can turn on to cool you while you sleep.

 

The Back Deck

Along with the hot tub on the back deck, there is also a gas grill for grilling steaks, burgers or food you can put on there. There is also a table and chair set for enjoying a meal outside.

The Dogwood is VERY private!

The Aspen and Dogwood are town-home style cottages that are actually two distinct buildings connected by a single roof. This assures that there is no noise transfer from one cottage to the other. The back decks and bedrooms are on opposite sides of the buildings to ensure you the most private vacation possible.
